Siwa Oasis Egypt is located about 750 km west of Cairo, near the Libyan border. It can be reached by bus or private transfer from Cairo or Marsa Matruh. The journey is long but extremely rewarding.
The best time to visit Siwa is between October and March, when the desert weather is pleasant for exploration. Summer (June–August) can be scorching and is not ideal for outdoor activities.
